The slow tempo approach to embodiment (December 2023 newsletter)
The beginning
In 2019 I started my first newsletter which eventually morphed into Embodiment Rabbit Hole. It’s where I focused on embodiment practices, research, legacies, learnings and integration.
Then I started The Anxious Body, a newsletter that introduced embodiment practices and research solely focused on managing the issues that anxiety creates for our bodies.
I’ve written with those two foci for several years now. I’ve learned about writing newsletters and even more about the world of embodiment. And with all that focus on those two topics I’m feeling the need to bring together those audiences and start writing with a new goal…
The new focus
I want to share with you the value of learning the language of the body. I want explore the importance of going slow with you. I want to support the possibility of doing the hard things that create a positive reward cycle in your body that create change.
I don’t know how to do that other than by diving in and making that my focus for this year in my newsletter. I’m combining my audiences and moving forward with Source Embodiment Updates as my learning and sharing platform.
You will still get research, practices and integration ideas on embodiment.
You will still receive guidance and understanding about how the body speaks using anxiety.
And all of that will be held in the container of going slower, exploring the non-linear path of change, and supportive guidance for when things get hard.
