Craniosacral Therapy helps with pain tension strain and discomfort

In my practice I combine the tools I have from Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Transforming Touch to meet my clients where they are and to help them achieve their goals with light touch bodywork therapy.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy assists with relaxation and creates flow that helps tissues heal and you to achieve your goals

If someone comes to me with pain, for example, from a recent surgery or dental procedure, I dial in more of my Craniosacral Therapy training. This work enhances tissue relaxation allowing flow of essential fluids like blood and lymph. Doing this opens up restrictions and creates an environment in the body to renew itself with nourishment from blood while also releasing toxins built up from the healing process.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing teaches skills of awareness grounding and settling helping you achieve your goals

Somatic Experiencing is a wonderful tool for creating self-awareness and processing the underlying physiological responses to overwhelming events. By skillfully guiding my client’s attention and awareness and inviting slowing down, they are once again able to relax tissue and create flow in their body. These are the prerequisites for healing.

Transforming Touch

Achieve your goals with Transforming Touch

Transforming Touch is similar to Craniosacral Therapy with its focus on safe, attentive touch. It is also profoundly different. It is a specific protocol that focuses deeply on creating regulation for people who have had little experience of it in their body. I really like to begin my relationship with clients with 6 sessions of Transforming Touch because it removes a lot of the extraneous work that bodies do to manage the day-to-day. It is a transformative modality that creates possibility for next steps.

If you don’t have time to invest in one-on-one sessions, I have a self-paced online course that offers guided practices to support your body.

Throughout the year I also host an online class series called Awake/Aware. It’s an economical and efficient way to access support.
